Core features

  • Lightweight aluminum housing and compact design provides easier installation as compared to cable and conduit
  • Engineered-to-order based on a building’s layout, factoring in obstacles and surroundings to determine the most efficient way to connect and route the system
  • Customizable fittings available to match complex runs
  • Epoxy insulation process ensures optimum conductor and system protection
  • All bus plugs are polarized to prevent improper installation
  • Voltage drop is much lower than the equivalent cable and conduit allowing a more efficient use of energy

The advantage of busway compared to cable and conduit

Busway provides a more flexible, effective and sustainable approach to power distribution.

The importance of infrared thermography for busway

  • What is infrared thermography (IR), and how does it work?
  • Why use IR thermography as a condition-based maintenance tool?
  • Can actual target object temperatures be taken using an IR camera?
  • What is an IR window and how does it work?
  • Are IR cameras expensive? Do I need training to use one?
  • Why can’t I just scan the joints from the outside of the equipment without the special IR joint cover?
